Come see what the buzz over Irish Poets Society is about.
It meets at 4:15 - 6:15pm during the winter months
Live traditional Irish music continues at the Irish American Home Society, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Come join the singers and musicians at this open seisiun. Listen or play along with the lively jigs and reels…sing a song if you are so inclined… or simply relax and enjoy the music of Ireland. This is an opportunity to learn Irish music.
For more information, contact Liz Raymond (860) 614-9431.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings (except the fourth Wednesday of the month).
This is a cultural function of the Irish American Home Society. There is a charge of $2 per class, which is used to pay bands for the two ceilis held each year. The only requirements are hard-soled shoes and a little stamina. Classes begin at 7 pm.
Please see our Connecticut Irish Set Dancers Facebook page or contact Liz Raymond at (860) 614-9431 for more information.
The Hartford Unit of Irish Northern Aid meets the 3rd Friday of every month in the Upstairs Hall of the Irish American Home.

The AOH Hartford Division 2 meets the first Thursday of the month at IAHS.
The AOH is an Irish Catholic organization that promotes and encourages participation in our religion, charity and Irish culture, following the motto, “In Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity”. We are always looking for new Brothers and invite any IAHS member that might be interested to join us for a meeting. AOH has guest speakers at our monthly meetings on topics ranging from Irish sports, history, politics to the arts. Any IAHS member that would like to hear any of our guest speakers is welcome with advance notice.
We collect food one Sunday a month and will continue to let the membership know when the drives are and who the beneficiaries are.
AOH is very grateful to the members of the IAHS that have made our monthly food drives a success.
For more information, please contact Division President Mike Enright at mikeenr@gmail.com or visit the group’s website at www.hartfordaoh.com

From 2 - 3pm on the 3rd Saturday of the month, a slow (learning) seisiun will be held with Greg prior to the normal seisiun at 3.
I simply love to sing and have been doing so professionally for over 30 years. While my first love remains Celtic folk, I have over time, absorbed the music of many of our great troubadours and on any given night with the moon and stars in perfect alignment and the wind just right, you'll hear songs (including originals) from Woody Guthrie to the King of Rock & Roll! Feel free to browse around the site, found out more about what I do and where I've been.
Energetic, fun and talented musicians featuring Old & New Country, Rock, Folk & Blues! Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Steel Guitar, Dobro, Banjo & Drums!!!!
Small Town Roots is a local band from Portland, that plays Country, southern rock and good O’l Rock and roll.
Bobby Morrill is from Shelton, CT
He's a Solo acoustic guitarist, singer, harmonica/ukulele player. He also MC's the Milford Irish Festival.
Reservations required: contact@hartfordgaa.com
Come for the dinner, stay for the dancing, and celebrate everything we love about Hartford GAA! Up Hartford!
Come on down and enjoy the music of
WE3 Trio
they'll have you up and dancing!!!
WE3 Trio is made up of the three male musicians from Connecticut's premier event band, Prelude Band, namely: Joe Cannata on bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and lead and background vocals, Dean Coutsouridis on guitar, alto saxophone, and lead and background vocals, John Morello on drums, percussion, and background vocals. The trio utilizes the same technology to recreate the "big sound" of a multi-piece band. In addition, we3 also performs with a power trio format that can really kick it at a club venue. So, whether you hear we3 at a club, formal event or anywhere in between, they can cover all the bases. We3 has performed at parties, concerts, weddings, and numerous restaurants and clubs throughout the state. These include The Gelston House in East Haddam, Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook, Angelico’s Lakehouse in East Hampton, Lavita Gustosa in East Haddam, aboard The Lady Katharine cruise ship, and many more venues. WE3 Trio has earned Gigmaster.com’s highest rating, 5 Stars, based on reviews and client satisfaction.
The PPT’S were born out of an after school happy hour. The goal is to play songs you love to sing.
With history supporting our present, it is also our present that supports our future. We meet the 4th Wednesday of the month.
The committee continues to collect artifacts supporting our vast history. For submissions or questions, please contract Eric Marszalek @ 860-685-1160 or e-mail history1irishclub@gmail.com.

The Blaney Brothers have a modern take on the traditional acoustic duo arrangement. Harmony vocals along with old time Celtic and Appalachian playing styles define their sound. A typical Blaney Brothers show features original tunes set within traditional pub songs, rebel songs, jigs, reels, ballads and jokes. The album Irish in New England has been featured on radio shows such as “Celtic Airs”, and “Watch This Space” on WWUH, as well as podcasts “Irish Music Party” and “Beer of the Day”.
The Second Chance Acoustic (aka, TSC Acoustic) performs traditional Irish music and pub tunes (as well as a mix of acoustic rock, blues, pop, country, etc.). We perform at various venues throughout Connecticut.
TSC Acoustic is a family band. Our instrumentation includes acoustic guitar, ukulele, flute, bass, cajon, and auxiliary percussion instruments. Irish lead vocalist, Don Kane, joins us for our Irish music shows.

Driving Route 9 is an original alternative folk band from Connecticut. We combine celtic influences with solid rhythms and beautiful harmonies to give a unique show that you'll want to share.
The musical experience of Driving Route 9 loosely fits the description of modern Folk/Celtic pop, taking their listeners to a place you simply can’t find anywhere else. Featuring the song writing duo of Becca Gripp of Wilmington, DE and Barry O’Doherty of Donegal County, Ireland, with band members Jim David on drums, Paul Emmerling on bass and Geoff Cox, armed with his whistle, this originals band from Southeast Connecticut is creating an experience unlike any other. With an upbeat vibe and a Celtic twist, DR9’s high energy shows bring catchy melodies, beautifully blended harmonies, and a tight musical delivery. “Matter of Time”, DR9’s debut album, was released in June 2021 on all digital media platforms and vinyl copies are available for sale on bandcamp.com. The album features professional Irish musicians and was recorded and engineered in Connecticut, Vermont, and Dublin.
